As part of its commitment to promoting economic growth and empowering entrepreneurs, Itire-Ikate LCDA, in collaboration with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), successfully organized a one-day training on Financial Literacy and Access to Finance for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the council area.
The training, facilitated by resource persons from LSETF, focused on the theme, “Financial Literacy and Access to Finance Opportunities for MSMEs.” Participants were equipped with practical knowledge on financial literacy and accounting, entrepreneurship development, access to finance, and support opportunities for technology-driven businesses.
Speaking at the event, the Leader of the House, Hon. Andrew Agbeyangi, encouraged participants to apply the knowledge gained to strengthen and expand their businesses. He reaffirmed the council’s commitment to creating an enabling environment that supports the growth and sustainability of small businesses across Itire-Ikate.
The administration of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, remains steadfast in its resolve to improve the welfare and economic prospects of entrepreneurs by facilitating capacity-building programmes, grants, and access to loan opportunities that will enhance business growth and contribute to the overall development of the local economy.
