My dear children,
My good people of Itire-Ikate LCDA,
I bring you warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations today as we celebrate two significant occasions together – Children’s Day and Eid El Kabir.
It is a rare blessing that these two celebrations fall on the same day. For me, it is a call to reflect on hope, sacrifice, and responsibility.
To our children, you are the hope of today and the leaders of tomorrow. This day is yours. I celebrate your innocence, energy and the bright future you represent. My administration remains committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and opportunity-rich environment where every child in Itire-Ikate can learn, thrive, and dream without limitation.
To our Muslim brothers and sisters, I join you in commemorating Eid El Kabir. This festival reminds us of the values of obedience, sacrifice, compassion, and unity as shown by Prophet Ibrahim (AS). Let us extend these virtues by showing love, kindness, and generosity to our neighbors and the less privileged during this Sallah period.
I urge parents, teachers, caregivers and community leaders to keep investing in the moral upbringing, education, and welfare of our children. Together, we will build an Itire-Ikate where every child’s voice is heard and every family lives in peace.
May Allah accept our sacrifices and prayers. I pray for joy, peace and progress for all families in Itire-Ikate LCDA.
Happy Children’s Day and Eid Mubarak to you all.
E-Signed
