
Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has bid farewell to its retiring staff members at a special retirement programme held at the council secretariat.
The event was organised to appreciate the dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions of the retiring officers to the growth and development of the council and public service.
Executive Chairman Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel commended the retirees for their years of selfless service, discipline, and loyalty, describing them as pillars of the institution whose hard work has helped shape the council’s progress.
The Head of Service, Mr. Olabode Agoro, represented by Mr. Ogunsakin Irewole, congratulated the retirees and wished them success and happiness in their future endeavours, noting that their legacies will continue to inspire younger officers.
Council Manager Mrs. Ajose Yetunde expressed gratitude to the retirees for their mentorship, professionalism, and exemplary conduct while in service.
Certificates of service and gifts from the Executive Governor, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Olushola Sanwo-olu, were presented to the retirees as a token of appreciation.
The event ended on a joyful note with cake cutting, group photographs, and expressions of goodwill.
