Reaffirms Commitment to Timely Completion and More People-Oriented Development Projects
In furtherance of his administration’s unwavering commitment to quality service delivery and infrastructural development, the Executive Chairman of Itire–Ikate LCDA, Hon. Oluwafemi Daniel Odunayo, on Thursday November 13, led members of the Legislative Arm, the Council Manager, top management staff, and other senior government officials on an inspection tour of ongoing “Pioneer 7” road construction projects across the seven wards of the LCDA.
The exercise was aimed at evaluating the level of work done, ensuring compliance with approved project specifications, and reinforcing the council’s dedication to delivering infrastructure that meets the highest standards. Moving from one project site to another, the Council boss and his team engaged directly with contractors and site engineers, emphasizing the importance of timely completion and adherence to quality benchmarks.
Hon. Odunayo commended the contractors for their diligence and the progress recorded so far, expressing satisfaction with the quality of work. He assured residents that all projects under the Pioneer 7 initiative would be completed within the stipulated timeframe, reaffirming that his administration remains resolute in its mission to deliver sustainable infrastructure that impacts positively on every ward.
The Chairman further restated his government’s commitment to implementing more people-oriented programmes and infrastructural interventions designed to enhance the living standards of residents. He reiterated that the overriding goal of his administration is to build a modern and inclusive community anchored on accountability, innovation, and service excellence.
