The Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area is set to commence its Routine Immunisation Programme on Tuesday, 3 March 2026. This exercise is an important step in safeguarding the health and future of our children and ensuring that every eligible child within our communities receives timely and essential vaccines. Routine immunisation remains one of the most effective ways to prevent childhood illnesses, strengthen immunity and promote long-term wellbeing. The LCDA, in partnership with health professionals and community leaders, is committed to making this programme accessible, well coordinated and impactful for all families. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate fully and bring their children to the designated immunisation points for vaccination.
