HAPPY ISESE DAY 2026
My beloved people of Itire-Ikate Lcda,
On this sacred occasion of Isese Day 2026, I extend my heartfelt felicitations to all adherents of Yoruba Traditional Religion, Baales, Chiefs, Priestesses, Babalawos, Iyalorisas, and the entire residents of Itire-Ikate LCDA.
Isese is more than a religion. It is our root, our identity, and the foundation of Yoruba values of Omoluabi — truth, respect, hard work, and community. Today we honor the wisdom of our ancestors who laid the foundation upon which we now build.
As an administration, we recognize and respect all faiths. We remain committed to protecting our cultural heritage, promoting religious tolerance, and ensuring that Itire-Ikate continues to be a model of peace and unity.
MY PRAYERS FOR ITIRE-IKATE LCDA ON THIS ISESE DAY:
1. Ire Aje: May prosperity and financial blessings locate every home in Itire-Ikate.
2. Ire Omo: May our children be fruitful, wise, and be a source of joy to us.
3. Ire Ile: May there be peace, security, and progress in all communities of Itire-Ikate.
4. Ire Aiku: May we live long in good health to witness more celebrations.
5. Ire Gbogbo: May the gods of the land and our ancestors bless the works of our hands and grant success to our administration.
Let us use this day to pray for Lagos State and Nigeria. May we continue to live together in love, regardless of faith or background.
