Purpose of the Retreat
The 2026 Budget Retreat is designed to provide a focused and calm environment where the Executive, Legislative Arm, Heads of Departments and key stakeholders can carefully review revenue projections, expenditure plans and ongoing projects. It will also create room for reflection on past performance, identification of gaps and planning for more impactful programmes in the new year.

To review the performance of the 2025 budget and draw lessons for improvement
To agree on clear priorities for the 2026 budget in line with the development agenda of Itire-Ikate LCDA
To ensure that proposed projects and programmes are realistic, people-centred and financially sustainable
