





In a selfless effort aimed at promoting quality healthcare in Itire-Ikate LCDA, members of Assalatu Sunatulahi Islamic Group (ASIM) donated medical equipment to the Airways Primary Health Centre, located within the Council Secretariat, in celebration of their 30th anniversary.
The medical equipment was received by members of the management team and the legislative arm led by the Council Chairman, Mrs Ajose Esther and the Leader of the House, Hon. Andrew Agbeyangi.
While receiving the group, the Council Manager, Mrs. Ajose Esther, expressed appreciation for the group’s act of benevolence towards the Primary Health Centre.
Representing the Executive Chairman, the Leader of the Legislative Arm, Hon. Andrew Agbeyangi, commended the group for the kind gesture. He highlighted the positive impact the donated medical items would have on the delivery of quality healthcare services at the health centre. He also assured the group of the continued commitment of the Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo-led administration to promoting quality healthcare services for all residents.
The Founder of Assalatu Sunatulahi, Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji AbdulRaheem Olayiwola Olabode, while delivering his address, extolled the Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel-led administration of Itire-Ikate LCDA for its continuous impact across various sectors. He stated that the donation formed part of the group’s outreach activities to commemorate its 30th anniversary. He noted that the gesture was their way of supporting the health sector and strengthening healthcare delivery within the community.
The equipment donated included patient mattresses, a water dispenser, medical wears and other medical items.
