Hon. Odunayo Oluwafemi, Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has extended warm greetings to Muslims worldwide on the occasion of Ramadan Kareem, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
In a statement, Hon. Oluwafemi described Ramadan as a period of spiritual rejuvenation, self-improvement and devotion to Allah, urging Muslims to use the opportunity to strengthen their faith and promote unity.
“As we observe this blessed month, I encourage all Muslims to embrace the true spirit of Ramadan – a time for introspection, forgiveness, and generosity,” he said.
Hon. Oluwafemi commended Muslims for their contributions to nation-building and emphasized the importance of interfaith harmony.
“Let us strive to build bridges of understanding and promote a culture of peace and tolerance,” he added.
The Hon. wished Muslims a blessed Ramadan, praying for peace, prosperity and spiritual growth.
