


The Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area (LCDA) hosted its monthly thanksgiving and prayer session on Monday March 2, 2026, bringing together staff from diverse religious backgrounds. The event aimed to promote peaceful coexistence and unity among Executive, Legislative and Management staff, amidst the ongoing Ramadan and Lent seasons.
In his remarks, the Nulge Chairman, Comrade Adebayo Solomon, urged all staff to comply with the monthly verification exercise to secure their salaries, stating that it is now a monthly requirement from the Local Government Civil Service Commission.
The Head of HR and Admin, Mrs. Bamidele Omolara, announced key initiatives including the new monthly verification exercise, the need for punctuality and proper attire at work and a reminder to maintain discipline and decorum in the service.
The Council Treasurer, Mr. Tajudeen Alani Amusa, emphasized electronic revenue collection and encouraged staff to pursue career advancement through further study and plan for retirement.
The Indefatigable Council Manager, Mrs. Esther Ajose, encouraged workers to seek assistance from their HODs and emphasized the importance of diligence and communication among staff. She also reminded staff of the importance of submitting their National Identification Numbers (NIN) and announced that the Executive Chairman has commenced the monthly palliative for staff, as part of efforts to enhance staff welfare.
The Representative of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Agbeyangi Andrew Olaoluwa, applauded the cordial relationship between the Executive Chairman, Legislators and Management. He also implored staff to continue their hard work in adding value to their communities.
The event concluded with a renewed commitment to unity, discipline and service delivery among staff, as they strive to enhance the development of Itire-Ikate LCDA.
