The Itire-Ikate Local Council Development Area LCDA has completed the renovation of the roof of the Itire Police Station a move aimed at enhancing the working conditions of security personnel and boosting security in the locality. This development underscores the LCDA’s commitment to supporting law enforcement agencies and promoting community safety.
The Executive Chairman of Itire-Ikate LCDA Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo stated that the renovation work was part of the council’s efforts to improve infrastructure and support the work of the police and other security agencies in maintaining law and order. “The renovation of the police station is a testament to our commitment to providing a conducive working environment for our security personnel and ensuring the safety and security of our residents” Hon. Odunayo said.
CSP Adeniran John Divisional Police Officer of Itire Police Station expressed his gratitude to Hon. Odunayo for the renovation saying “We appreciate the timely response of Hon. Odunayo to our needs. The renovation of our station is a morale booster and we promise to redouble our efforts in protecting lives and properties in Itire-Ikate. We are committed to working with the LCDA and the community to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.”
