The Executive Chairman of Itire–Ikate Local Council Development Area, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, has commenced palliative and rehabilitation works on the failed portions of Adeshina/Airways Road and Akewukeke Streets, in furtherance of his administration’s unwavering commitment to infrastructural renewal and improved service delivery across the LCDA.
The ongoing intervention is designed to address prolonged road deterioration, enhance accessibility, improve safety for motorists and pedestrians, and ease the daily movement of residents, commuters, and businesses within the affected communities. The scope of work includes repairs and necessary structural reinforcements to ensure durability and long-term functionality.
Speaking on the project, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel reaffirmed that the rehabilitation aligns with his administration’s vision of people-oriented governance, emphasizing that quality road infrastructure remains a vital catalyst for economic growth, social development, and improved quality of life. He assured residents that the project would be executed to standard and completed within the stipulated timeline.
