Dear Parents and Guardians,
In our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the health and future of our children, I am delighted to announce that Itire–Ikate Local Council Development Area will be conducting a Polio Immunization Campaign from Saturday, 8th November, to Tuesday, 11th November, 2025.
During this period, our dedicated team of health professionals will visit every household across the community to administer free polio vaccines to all children under the age of 59 months. This life-saving initiative is aimed at protecting our young ones from the crippling effects of poliomyelitis—a preventable disease that can cause lifelong paralysis, disability, or even death.
I appeal to all parents and guardians to make their children available for immunization. Let us seize this vital opportunity to shield our children from harm and ensure they grow strong, healthy, and full of promise.
Together, we can secure a polio-free Itire–Ikate and a brighter future for generations to come.
