The Executive Chairman of Itire–Ikate LCDA, Hon. Oluwafemi Odunayo Daniel, accompanied by Arc. Lanre Okunlola, Member, House of Representatives (Surulere Constituency II), members of the Legislative Arm, and top council officials, paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Education Secretary, Surulere Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Hon. Babatunde Awoyelu.
In a demonstration of solidarity and compassion, Hon. Odunayo led the delegation to the Awoyelu residence to commiserate with the family during this moment of deep sorrow. He conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the government and people of Itire–Ikate LCDA, describing the late Hon. Awoyelu as a committed, visionary, and exemplary education administrator whose invaluable contributions to the advancement of basic education will continue to be remembered with great respect.
The Council Chairman prayed that Almighty God grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this painful loss and grant the departed eternal rest. He encouraged them to take solace in the remarkable legacy of dedication, service, and integrity that Hon. Awoyelu leaves behind.
