Within just one year in office, Hon. Oluwafemi Daniel Odunayo, Executive Chairman of Itire–Ikate LCDA, has demonstrated that purposeful leadership, prudent resource management, and an unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people can transform communities.

WORKS AND INFRASTRUCTURE
The administration has prioritized infrastructure renewal through the execution and rehabilitation of critical road networks and public facilities, including:

To address perennial flooding and improve environmental sanitation, the administration implemented several strategic initiatives:
Institutionalized monthly environmental sanitation exercises, personally led by the Executive Chairman every month from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., to promote public participation and accountability.
Inaugurated a 45-member Environmental Task Force to enforce sanitation regulations and curb indiscriminate waste disposal.
Launched ward-by-ward desilting and drainage clearing operations to improve water flow and reduce flooding.
Integrated drainage infrastructure into all Pioneer Seven road projects for sustainable flood management.
Strengthened collaboration with LAWMA to ensure prompt waste evacuation and cleaner communities.
